Can you still buy license plates that mount on the front fender of older motorcycles?

My dad has a '63 Triumph that's all original, and I wanted to get him one of those plates that some of the older bikes have on the front fender. I'm sure it would have to be a novelty plate.

Your asking about the ''pedestrian cutter'' plate. You can sometimes find them on E-bay or Craigslist used. but I think if you check with www.britishcyclesupply.com up in Nova Scotia, they might have some originals. Also find some Forums of Brit Bike enthusiasts on line. Lots of them out there. Google is your friend.

try:

http://www.britishonly.com/

they have a wide range of old new in box and repro items for british bikes
I think you will find they are now illegal.

To much risk of a pedestrian getting hurt if they were to fall onto it!
