You must be a newlywed. Well i just made my 1st year anniversary. It was hard but we made it and it can only get better. Hang in there and tough it out. Unless it is really brutal and I think you know the difference. I was single forever and waited for him. Now im making it work.
ever since 3rd grade, i had this one boy friend, and he still is my bf. Now i am in 10th grade and so is he, so i guess it has been a long relationship.
We've been married 19 1/2 yrs. and, this is too long a story to go into here, but we had some problems, mainly with poor and no communication, and with me feeling emotionally abused in the past. A year ago, thinking at the time, that it was the right and only thing left to do, I filed for divorce. I did it because I truly believed he didn't love me and that he wanted me to do the dirty work of filing. This past year, I've learned a lot and I think he has, too. Our relationship is very good now, and we are very close, but he is a bit ambivalent about dismissing the divorce because "he can't go through it again." He doesn't trust me that I wouldn't do it again, yet he doesn't want the divorce, either. He is just hoping the whole thing will go away if he ducks his head in the sand. Soon, he may be forced to make a decision.He has known for some time that I regretted my mistake in filing and that I absolutely don't want it and want very much to stay married to him. I hope to find out sometime in the near future that everything turns out well in the long run. I've promised him over and over again that I would not do this again, because now I understand things that I didn't before.
